Ha Ha Tonka - Live from the Loo (The Indie-verse studios)

Posted on 07 October 2009 by drnicomartini

We had the idea to do some recordings in the rest room on the top floor of our building . . . yes, seriously . . . On more than one occasion, everyone at the station had brought up the idea, but it was always shot down because “No band would be willing to do that! Come on! Get your head out of your rear! And put that baby down.”

Okay… no babies were harmed in this taping . . . but I digress . . .

That theory was blown out of the water by Springfield, MO’s Ha Ha Tonka. One of the guys, after a trip to the aforementioned rest room, came back to the studio and said. “Dude, that bathroom is incredible! The acoustics are AWESOME! We should go record this in there.”

And then . . . we did . . .

Without further adieu . . . Episode 1 of Live from the Loo. Here’s Ha Ha Tonka with Hangman.
