First, I want to once again commend the DFW area, as they once again rose to the occasion and SOLD OUT Passion Pit…on a TUESDAY no less! Bravo Dallas, a year ago I would have been one of maybe 50 people at this show. While that may have made for a more intimate experience, this type of a turnout does much more in the way of putting Dallas on the map as a Live Music destination with great fans.
Second, while I love Passion Pit, the band played one of the shortest headlining sets I have ever heard. In their defense, the band only really has an Album and an EP with 2-3 non-album songs, so for them, the 11 song set is a pretty thorough dive into their catalogue.
I was a little skeptical of this show when I first arrived. Michael Angelakos’ vocals are not shy in the way of production on their album Manners, which sometimes causes the real thing to fall short, but I think I can speak for the Granadites and say that they delivered.
The setlist is below, and the verdict is that if you don’t have Manners or Chunk of Change, you’re missing out on some great music. Get them now people!
-Ben
- Make Light
- Better Things
- Let Your Love Grow Tall
- Little Secrets
- I’ve Got Your Number
- Folds In Your Hands
- Moth’s Wings
- Sleepyhead
- Smile Upon Me
- Seaweed Song
- The Reeling

Great show. Everyone was grooving. Chunk of Change is one of the best EPs I have heard this year. Passion Pit really delivered.
