Marnie Stern, Abe Vigoda, Wavves, Japanther, Drug Mountain, This Bike is a Pipe Bomb, the Pharmacy, DD/MM/YYYY and more!
If you are able to see all of these shows you will become the most “Indie” person on the planet and also a time traveler.
Indie-Chrononauts it is your sworn duty to Quantum Leap yourself to some of these concerts to show these bands that DFW is worth playing.
Disappointment is not showing up at any of these gigs.

umm, there are some more great shows on 3/17/09…Efterklang at Hailey’s in Denton and Brooke Waggoner at Lola’s in Ft Worth.

Adam, Im jealous of people who live close to the GRANDA (?) so dont rub it in.

But I’m really excited about the show tonight. I’ll be sure to take pictures, and I may even do a review (but it may look more like a setlist depending on the amount of green beer)

I ended up not going to a show that night, but Barcadia. I did last night, Ace Enders at Live at the Max, Great show, did a lot of The Early November ditties.

I went to The show at 715 panhandle.
I rode up to Denton with my friends, Fungi girls.
When we got there, The show at 818 Hickory was combined Due to Wavves and Abe Vigoda being all the way in Abiliene.
There was a total of 11 bands playing that night, 9 of which were touring for SXSW. It turned out all of the bands were great, Except wavves. They messed up alot and were complete assholes, They to the croud to “shut the f%&! up” at least four times. Michael, The Austailian Bassist from Psychedelic Horseshit Put his dick and balls on the window of the room Wavves was playing In.
Psychedelic Horseshit and Abe Vigoda are some of the nicest people i have ever met.
Rich the drummer told me to go to youtube and watch “drinking out of cups” It’s very funny. HXHF Was amazing.
